|Customer Satisfaction Survey-DoIT Customer Support||
The report details the results of a customer satisfaction survey sent to customers who contacted the help (service) desk of the Department of Information Technology within the Division of Student Affairs in the 2016-2017 academic year. Intent was to measure the satisfaction level of customers of the help desk regarding their interactions with both student techs who work the Service Desk, and full time, professional staff who assist with troubleshooting and problem solving of issues brought through the help (service) desk.

This study describes the demographic characteristics of student leaders (chief leader and treasurer) in recognized student organizations over a six year period. The demographic categories included sex, race/ethnicity, first generation status, classification, academic college, and average GPR. The analysis also provided the information by level or organization: Sponsored, Registered, and Affiliated.

|Outdoor Adventures Spring 2017||
The Department of Recreational Sports maintains a more than 400,000 square foot facility visited by thousands of students, faculty, staff, and family members each year. Outdoor Adventures, as part of the Department of Recreational Sports, notes on its website http://recsports.tamu.edu/outdoor-adventures that it “provides Texas A&M and the surrounding Bryan and College Station community with access to the outdoors. We offer a wide range of trips and classes, a large selection of outdoor gear to rent, and indoor rock climbing facility and other resources to get you in touch with the world around you.” The attached report summarizes an assessment sent to students to discover their motivation and barriers to participating in the trips offered through Outdoor Adventures.

The mission of the Department of Multicultural Services Tutoring Program is to facilitate student academic success by providing personalized academic assistance and course-specific peer tutoring to assist students in the development of study skills essential to success in coursework. |TAMU Career Closet Patron Satisfaction Survey Spring 2017||
The Student Government Association sponsors the TAMU Career Closet, which provides various business attire available for rent to students for up to five business days. The assessment measures the satisfaction of student patrons of the TAMU Career Closet during the spirng of 2017.
|Start Smart Workshop Multi-year Assessment||
The Women's Resource Center within the Offices of the Dean of Student Life (ODSL) in conjunction with the Career Center and The American Association of University Women at Texas A&M University offer Start Smart salary negotiation workshops to the Texas A&M University community. In the spring of 2017 the usefulness of the workshops to those who attended was assessed and included those workshops offered between 2013 through spring 2017.

|MSC CAMAC Amig@s 2016-2017||
In 2016, MSC CAMAC was awarded a Division of Student Affairs College Completion Grant to fund two featured programs. Those programs include the current and growing Mi Casa es Su Casa, which provides a support system for Hispanic students through interaction with Hispanic professors as the latter prepares a home cooked meal in their home, and a new initiative, MSC CAMAC Amig@s. This new initiative is a mentoring program that pairs current MSC CAMAC members with first-year and/or first-generation Latina/o students, with the hope that participants will become engaged with MSC CAMAC and other programs/organizations/services on campus. MSC CAMAC Amig@s assists students in acclimating to campus life, becoming involved, and helps them find a home away from home. The grant money funds services such as retreats and trainings, and the MSC CAMAC advisor and leaders believe that involvement in the program will positively impact participants’ persistence to their second year of college and beyond to graduation. The attached assessment report summarizes assessments provided to participants attending the three Gatherings offered in the spring semester, which involved attendance at the theatrical & chorale performance, Conspirare: Considering Mathew Shepard, the musical film Chico & Rita and a résumé writing workshop and the year end reflection exercise.

|Parent/Guardian Evaluation 2016-2017||
The mission of the Becky Gates Children’s Center (BGCC) “…is to provide an exemplary, affordable, accessible early childhood education program for the children of students, staff, and faculty affiliated with Texas A&M University” (http://bgcc.tamu.edu/mission-and-goals/ ). The BGCC provides services to a diverse group of children and parents/guardians. Yearly, a parent/guardian evaluation survey is sent out in an effort to evaluate and continue to provide high quality services to children and parents/guardians. The survey was designed to assess both the overall quality of the center, parent/guardian perspectives of the inquiry-based curriculum and the individual classrooms at the BGCC. The attached report summarizes the results of the survey sent out in reference to the 2016-2017 school year.

|GLBT Mentorship Program Spring 2017||
The GLBT Resource Center Mentorship program offers support and guidance to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning students (LGBTQ) within Texas A&M University. In 2016, this program was awarded a Division of Student Affairs College Completion Grant, intending to sharpen its focus on retention, persistence, and graduation of students involved in the program. By connecting these students with a mentor who is like them, the Mentorship program proposes that its student participants will gain efficacy in persisting to graduation at Texas A&M University. The program outcomes were as follows:
• Create tangible support systems for students through interactions with faculty and staff in a mentoring capacity.
Attached reports the summary of results of a survey sent to both mentors and mentees to assess their experiences with the GLBT Resource Center mentorship program.

|Global Leadership Initiatives- 2017||
The Corps Global Leadership Initiatives Program is a partnership between the Corps of Cadets, the Department of International Studies, the Study Abroad Programs Office, and the Confucius Institute. Each year, cadets apply for one of the three international trips. Each year, different countries are selected, and once students are chosen, they attend orientation meetings to prepare for their experience prior to the actual trip in May. In 2017 three different trips were planned: China, Panama & Costa Rica, and South Africa. While in each country, students meet with various military personnel and diplomats to learn about the country and the relationship that country has with the United States. The trips utilize the DIME-R framework and focus on topics of diplomacy, information (media), military, economics, and religious/culture. Cadets also have time built into the schedule to explore the country to experience the culture, eat the food, and go to various museums or historical sites. The attached summarizes the assessments given to provide the Corps of Cadets a better understanding of the cadets' experiences during the program.

|On Campus Living and Learning Assessment||
Residence Life provides a variety of housing options for approximately 10,000 undergraduates, graduates, and members of the Corps of Cadets each year; 7,500 of these students live in traditional residence halls and apartments and 2,500 in the Corps of Cadets. Residence Life wanted to explore how living on-campus contributed to students’ experience at Texas A&M University. These results will be used by Residence Life to make improvements to the on-campus learning experience. Spring 2017 was the second year that Student Life Studies had assisted Residence Life with this assessment project.
Family Weekend is a special time dedicated to Aggie parents and families. This annual weekend is organized by the Family Weekend Committee, comprised of eight student leaders and supported by the Office of New Student & Family Programs, in the Offices of the Dean of Student Life. This year Family Weekend was held April 7-9th 2017 and consisted of events and activities such as Aggie Ring Day, athletic events, awards ceremonies, receptions or Open Houses, and a Yell Practice. Additionally, there are events sponsored by academic colleges, university departments, and student organizations. The Family Weekend Committee and New Student & Family Programs wanted to gather feedback on this new event to assist in making improvements for future years; the summary report attached provides the results of the survey sent out to to families on a listserv and also through a link on the on the Family Weekend website.

|Facilities Customer Service - Spring 2017||
The Recreation Center (Rec Center) wanted to gather some information from students relating to their satisfaction of the Rec Center facility spaces and equipment, and interactions with their staff. More specifically, the Rec Center staff wanted to measure the satisfaction level with facility spaces since the expansion/renovation project was completed, to learn where improvements to operations can be made to make students' experiences at the Rec Center more enjoyable. The attached report summarizes the results of the survey sent to students to assess their satisfaction with the aforementioned aspects of the Rec Center.
