The Department of Student Life Studies will be hosting Assessment Boot Camp: Scaling Up Your Assessment on Tuesday, May 22 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. This comprehensive program will focus determining the most appropriate assessment method, designing good questions, and interpreting analyzed results. Assessment Boot Camp: Scaling Up Your Assessment will be an advanced program targeted towards staff with intermediate level assessment skills (not beginner level).

Learning Outcomes

Staff attending Assessment Boot Camp: Scaling Up Your Assessment will:

  • Write a survey question aligned to a given statement, following best practices
  • Determine when not to use a survey
  • Identify descriptive statistics
  • Interpret statistical results against a given statement
    • Plan to attend May 22nd
    • Registration materials will be sent in early April
