The Department of Student Life Studies will host the 2nd annual Assessment Boot Camp on
Thursday, June 8, 2017 8am to 5pm
This professional development opportunity will cover the entire assessment cycle from understanding the assessment process to designing quality assessment instruments to understanding assessment results.
Assessment results help all staff make decisions that are evidence based, improve the quality of programs and services, and measure student learning. This comprehensive program is designed for all staff in the division regardless of the type of assessment you might be doing or want to do.
Staff attending Assessment Boot Camp will:
Write an effective learning outcome.
Choose appropriate assessment methods to measure learning and program outcomes.
Create a plan to make improvements using assessment results.
